little do most poeple know that Mitch was offically given the job to replace Sammy Hagar in Van Halen. But after VH went on MTV with David Lee Roth to present an award he told them there was no way any vocalist could be successful after they appreared with DLR and quit the band. after that they hired Gary Cherone from Extreme and made a god awful album.
